# Project (Portfolio) Manager
**Zurich** | **Full time**
**Overview of Role**
As Project (Portfolio) Manager you will be part of the team Projects & Processes within the COO Department of Rothschild & Co Wealth Management. You will be a key contributor to define and deliver the project (portfolio) implementing strategic priorities of the bank. In addition, you will lead or support innovation initiatives or strategic projects. You will be working closely with all internal departments and senior management in Switzerland and subsidiaries in Europe and Middle East. Occasionally, you will need to travel to national and international Wealth Management locations.
**Responsibilities**
* Define strategic implementation targets and business architecture changes based on bank strategy
* Steer the project portfolio for the bank with stakeholders in Switzerland and international subsidiaries
* Ensure the project portfolio governance including meetings and tools
* Initiate or engage in innovation initiatives shaping the future of the bank
* Lead strategic projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
* Serve the bank as project management competence center providing trainings as well as support related with project methodology and tools
* Conduct analysis and research for the COO
* Participate in local and international working groups within Wealth Management or Rothschild & Co Group
**Experience, Skills and Competencies Required**
* University degree in Business Administration, Banking or a related discipline
* At least 5 years of work experience in a project portfolio and project management, consulting or similar role within the financial industry, preferably wealth management
* Entrepreneurial spirit combined with a positive “can-do” attitude and a desire for taking on responsibility
* Problem-solving mind-set combined with strong conceptual and analytical skills
* Quick grasp, able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and drive multiple topics at a time
* Hands-on approach with a strong focus on execution and getting things done
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Structured, committed and collaborative personality
* Fluent in English, other languages (German, French, Spanish) are considered a very important plus
