Your tasks
* Contribute to the scientific organization of the Research Unit, based in Cologne
* Support project management in administrative tasks, including project controlling, personnel coordination, reporting, and communication with the DFG
* Organize seminar series, workshops, conferences, and other scientific events of the Research Unit
* Coordinate scientific collaborations, including exchanges and networking with national and international research institutions and visiting scholars
* Collaborate with graduate schools of the participating institutions to support the education and training of PhD students
* Develop and implement the Research Unit’s professional training program
* Provide information and guidance to researchers regarding funding programs and grant applications
* Contribute to the implementation of initiatives promoting equal opportunities and career development
* Assist with onboarding of new researchers
* Develop and manage the Research Unit’s public relations activities, including its website and social media presence
Your profile
* PhD (or equivalent degree) in the natural sciences
* Excellent organizational skills
* Independent and structured working style with a high level of initiative
* Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
* Interest in the research topics of the Research Unit
