Anforderungen

  • •Advanced university degree in economics or relevant field
  • •First-level university degree in relevant field with two years of relevant experience
  • •At least seven years of relevant professional experience
  • •Excellent knowledge of one working language (English, French or Spanish) and good knowledge of another
  • •Proven ability to take ownership of responsibilities and act with integrity
  • •Ability to develop clear strategic goals and design strategies for programme development
  • •Ability to advocate and provide policy advice
  • •Excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Manage day-to-day project implementation
  • •Provide technical advisory services for future program development
  • •Ensure project objectives are met within time and budget
  • •Ensure compliance with ILO financial and operating procedures
  • •Promote ILO policies in project-related technical areas
  • •Oversee administrative and support staff
  • •Plan, monitor, and evaluate project activities
  • •Prepare annual plans, inception reports, and narrative reports
  • •Prepare financial reports according to the agreement schedule
  • •Identify risks and challenges to project objectives
  • •Develop alternative strategies to address challenges
  • •Manage project funds and budgets effectively
  • •Prepare budgets in line with ILO procedures
  • •Monitor budget delivery and manage payment requests
  • •Supervise recruitment and performance management of project staff
  • •Prepare terms of reference for consultants and partners
  • •Provide technical advice to governments and key partners
  • •Strengthen relationships with stakeholders for project activities
  • •Facilitate exchanges of experiences between countries
  • •Liaise with UN counterparts to promote ILO values
  • •Promote gender equality and non-discrimination in the project
  • •Engage in local resource mobilization with donors
  • •Maintain relationships with donors and partners
  • •Write and disseminate project materials with technical specialists
  • •Develop a dissemination strategy for project publications
  • •Participate in meetings and workshops to share project insights
  • •Develop information databases for project activities
  • •Prepare periodic reports on project implementation status
  • •Conduct research on worker needs and wage setting
  • •Identify training needs and organize workshops for partners
  • •Perform other duties as required
