Professor of Software Engineering(m/w/x)

In this role, you will engage in teaching and supervising students while actively contributing to program development and quality assurance. You will also foster partnerships with industry, participate in research, and take part in student recruitment events.

Anforderungen

• •Completed university studies
• •Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
• •Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship, at least three years, two of them outside of a university after having obtained a master’s degree or equivalent
• •Experience in teaching in university classrooms, with blended and online approaches
• •High affinity for computer science topics
• •Strong expertise in core areas of software engineering, with specialized knowledge in at least one subfield such as distributed systems, software architecture, or mobile/web application development
• •Practical proficiency with modern programming languages, frameworks, and state-of-the-art tools and technologies commonly used in the industry
• •International experience and fluency in English for teaching and research purposes
• •Significant publications
• •Research experience, ideally including the acquisition of funding
• •Ability to provide new innovative directions for research and teaching
• •Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes
