# Product Quality Manager Footwear (all genders) **Berlin** | **Full time** # **THE ROLE & THE TEAM** The Quality Management Team is responsible for driving the long term quality strategy for Private Labels, aligning all departments and needs. Please feel free to inform us of any accommodations you may need, so we can best support and assist you throughout the hiring process. # **WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)** * As a Product Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for using your technical knowledge to define and execute product quality assurance and compliance related processes * You are accountable for taking actions that impact the quality performance of your business unit * You design, implement and run product quality assurance processes/projects that support the strategy of your team to ensure milestones and deadlines are met, by tracking KPIs and producing regular project reports. * You support your lead in decision making within your business unit and proactively drive continuous improvement of your processes/projects, identify inefficiencies and implement constructive solutions according to the quality assurance strategy of your team. * You are capable of defining, interpreting, tracking and challenging the team's KPIs that allow you to make data driven decisions and drive process improvement. * Your in-depth knowledge of quality management system documentation ensures your processes are robust and clearly documented. You know how to read product and process requirements and are able to translate it to your department/team needs. * You are collaborating closely with our off-shore office and you are managing internal as well as external stakeholders * You independently manage a range of operational processes/projects that control and solve medium complex product quality assurance issues and support on a conceptual level. * You support product quality assurance investigations and use the findings to propose innovative solutions. # **WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF** * Bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship within footwear industry for 3-5 years+ * Knowledge of product quality assurance (manufacturing processes, foundation of product life cycle, background in quality management and/ or compliance, EU legislation) to define and execute the processes/projects that you are responsible for. * Knowledge and experience of RAPEX, risk assessment tools and physical standards pertaining to footwear or other product categories * Understanding of production processes and standards within factory set-ups * Organisation is one of your biggest strengths, you are service-oriented and get straight to the heart of important information. * Expertise in Google sheets, Excel, Jira, Microstrategy. * Very good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with suppliers and other teams internally.
