* You are responsible for the entire purchasing process of your category, conduct supplier negotiations independently and implement targeted cost reduction initiatives
* You ensure that purchasing decisions meet our corporate objectives in terms of cost, quality, delivery capability and risk management
* You build long-term, partnership-based relationships with suppliers and negotiate optimal conditions in terms of price and service
* You regularly analyse spend data, monitor the budget of your subcategory and identify and minimise potential risks in the supply chain

**Your Experience and Qualifications**
* Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry
* Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management and cost reduction projects
* Sound knowledge of the foundry industry and experience with castings and turned parts
* Business fluent in English, user knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and confident handling of MS Office
