Anforderungen

  • •Bachelor's degree in a technical-physical field
  • •Knowledge of ultra-high vacuum technology and molecular beam epitaxy
  • •Bachelor's degree in physical engineering, microsystems technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable education
  • •Several years of practical experience in operating molecular beam epitaxy systems
  • •Enjoyment of analytical work and scientific questions
  • •Physical fitness to work with respiratory protection
  • •Team spirit, communication skills, independent working style, goal-oriented, precision, and conscientiousness
  • •Good English skills

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Independently operate a multi-wafer MBE system
  • •Produce thin-film structures for optoelectronic and electronic components
  • •Develop and optimize existing and new MBE processes
  • •Plan and carry out independent epitaxy series
  • •Document and statistically evaluate epitaxy results
  • •Characterize manufactured layers in collaboration with other departments
  • •Perform quality assessments of produced components
  • •Monitor plant availability and maintenance
  • •Coordinate maintenance and repair work with the group leader
  • •Implement technical improvements in consultation with the plant manufacturer
