Principal Product Manager, Kubernetes(m/w/x)

The Edge Data Platform solution (EDP) streamlines data ingestion, cloud installation, and third-party data integration. It provides a unified data collection method for easy consumption while meeting the customers where they are. Expanding the EDP Product team, we are looking for a visionary **Principal Product Manager** within the Data Acquisition area to co-spearhead our strategy and execution for **Dynatrace’s value in the Kubernetes space**. You’ll drive adoption, scale ingestion, and lead the roadmap of our container orchestration platform to meet enterprise needs. ## Your role at Dynatrace Your responsibilities include: * **Lead the strategic direction** for Kubernetes operator, integrations, and lifecycle management, working closely with our agile R&D teams. * **Collaborate with top-tier teams** in engineering, design, and go-to-market to deliver seamless, impactful integrations that WOW customers and **create value-add** that sells and impacts product adoption in a measurable manner. * **Establish KPIs**(e.g.: operator adoption), track performance and pivot strategy based on analytics and feedback. * **Balance the right investment for** **product/maintenance and innovation** in alignment with the leadership team and other Product Managers. * **Act as a companywide accepted expert** that drives knowledge not only into the organization but also to the customers. * **Engage with customers and industry leaders** to understand their workflows, pain points, and emerging needs. * **Monitor market trends** and stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions. ## What will help you succeed * **7+ years of product management experience**, with prior success in setting product strategy and executing it based on research, data, and industry trends. * **Experience**working with enterprise customers and B2B SaaS products. * **Strong understanding of Kubernetes**(operators, CRDs, networking, scaling), container orchestration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * **Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams** of product managers, lead engineers, lead architects, designers, and other business stakeholders. * **Innovative thinking** - ability to bring market and business understanding into the product to deliver differentiated value for customers and prospects, aligned with Dynatrace’s goals and strategy. * **Proficiency in data analysis** to drive informed decision-making and measure product success. * **Proactive and hands-on personality** with high drive and a dynamic mindset. * Clear **sense of ownership and accountability**, **strong communication skills** towards team, peers, and stakeholders alike, as well as a **bias for action** ## Why you will love being a Dynatracer * Dynatrace is a leader in unified observability and security. * We provide a culture of excellence with competitive compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance. * Our employees work with the largest cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, and other leading partners worldwide to create strategic alliances. * The Dynatrace platform uses cutting-edge technologies, including our own Davis hypermodal AI, to help our customers modernize and automate cloud operations, deliver software faster and more securely, and enable flawless digital experiences. * Over 50% of the Fortune 100 companies are current customers of Dynatrace. ## Compensation Data * We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. * Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 70.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
