Having you in our team, you will unfold expertise in customer-centric software development for infotainment in the car, mobile and beyond. As Principal Delivery Management 1.2 (m/f/d), you are part of a group of passionate and determined people who continuously strive for pushing the boundaries and who all share the same vision: To provide the best possible customer experience across the entire mobility journey by offering extended infotainment systems and functionalities combined with services for connected cars within a data-driven automotive ecosystem, no matter what brand or product they choose. ## WHAT YOU WILL DO * Plan, coordinate, and control development teams at the IIX level to ensure timely delivery within time, quality, and budget across all release clusters of the End-to-End Architecture 1.2 * Oversee technical scheduling, maturity planning, and release management, ensuring on-time implementation and approval of sub-systems * Resolve conflicting goals regarding content, technology, and timelines within sub-systems, ensuring smooth execution * Track and manage the maturity levels of ECU integration, function ramp-up, cross-sectional technologies, and requirements implementation * Identify, prioritize, and mitigate technical risks and errors at the solution/sub-system level, escalating critical issues to Solution Leads within IIX or to relevant CARIAD Tech Center Leads as needed * Ensure adherence to project framework conditions for sub-system development, including allocated resources and supplier capacities * Confirm and prioritize Delivery Unit portfolio content to align with project goals and technical feasibility * Track the release readiness of products for specific compound or cluster releases and ensure the execution of all release artifacts within the IIX scope ## WHO YOU ARE * University degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline * Proven (senior) leadership experience delivering complex Infotainment software and hardware solutions, ideally within a multi-brand context * In-depth understanding of the automotive infotainment landscape; knowledge of the Volkswagen Group infotainment solution a plus * Broad range of knowledge and skills in one or more of following fields: Android OS and Applications, Linux, Embedded systems, vehicle networking and AI * Strong analytical and communication skills as well as organizational skills * Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams to quickly solve complex issues * Experience in agile development (SAFe is a plus) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English ## NICE TO KNOW * Remote work options * Temporary work from abroad in selected countries * Flextime / optional working hours * Company pension plan * Annual professional development * Sabbatical option up to 6 months * 30 days paid + 10 days unpaid leave * Possibility for VW Group car leasing
