# Principal Business Transformation Advisor (BTS) (f/m/d)

**ABOUT THE TEAM**
SAP’s Business Transformation Services (BTS) team is critical to our customer’s success in cloud adoption and business transformation, operating within the Business Transformation & Architecture (BT&A) organization. The global BTS team plays a strategic role, defining SAP’s global BTS strategy and methodology. Partnering with regional BTS teams, we empower regional execution while collaborating closely with Enterprise Architects (EAs) to embed best practices and strategic insights, solidifying SAP’s position as a trusted transformation partner.
**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**
As part of the global BTS team, you will drive the development of transformation methodologies and value-driven business cases. You will work on strategic initiatives the areas of service portfolio, collaboration models and customer adoption strategies. You’ll promote SAP’s reputation as a strategic partner in tailored cloud transformation services, meeting the diverse needs of global clients from different industries. You will be part of light-house deliveries for e.g. board sponsored engagements.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Define Global BTS Services and deliver proof points:** Enhance the global BTS strategy aligned with BT&A goals, establish a consistent, value-driven delivery framework, and collaborate with regional BTS teams to adapt initiatives to client needs within SAP’s Suite and AI First vision. Continuously refine BTS methodologies and corresponding services to create a scalable framework of best practices, working with EA teams to integrate architectural principles for strategic alignment across regions.
2. **Strategic Leadership and Integration:** Act as a strategic partner across BT&A, EA, and regional teams to deliver cohesive, value-focused solutions. Ensure BTS services align with industry and SAP’s strategic core principles and support regional adaptations. Guide regional BTS teams to balance global consistency with regional autonomy, fostering a collaborative approach to sharing best practices and continuous improvement.
3. **Organizational Leadership:** Build and scale the global BTS structure emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and customer success. Guide and support team members globally on client engagements.
4. **Manage Ad-hoc Requests and Escalations:** Ensure rapid response to urgent requests and escalations, coordinating resources to address critical issues in alignment with SAP’s objectives.
**YOUR PROFILE**
* **Business Transformation Experience**: 7+ years in business and IT transformation, enterprise architecture, or consulting, focusing on global strategy, value engineering, and program management in large environments, preferably across different industries.
* **Proven SAP and Cloud Solutions Expertise**: Extensive knowledge of SAP solutions (S/4HANA on RISE, BTP and potentially LoB specifics), with proven ability to drive measurable outcomes.
* **Customer-centric and Growth-Oriented**: Track record of delivering impactful, client-focused solutions prioritizing business outcomes, supporting business development and service acquisition.
* **Intercultural Management Experience**: Skilled in aligning regional and global teams to foster a cohesive strategy, empowering regional execution.
* **Knowledge of Services Business**: Extensive hands-on experience in large scale internal or external customer programs and projects. Involvement in internal strategic initiatives around service portfolio, innovation adoption and enablement.
