We are currently seeking an experienced Pricing Intelligence Manager within the Food Packaging division. Reporting to the Pricing Director FP you will be accountable for managing key aspects of the Pricing functions including the lead of transformation workstreams, maintenance of the kp Pricing tool, first contact for the Southern Europe based sales team with regards to Pricing, as well as providing key analytics to the team.
**Tasks and responsibilities:**
**Pricing:**
* Driving all Pricing models for all regions and market segments in close corporation with Product Line Management and Sales ensuring that they are fully robust with an accurate representation of profitability (e.g. competitive positioning, costs, pricing rates, profitability calculations).
* Managing key strategic pricing initiatives aimed at improving the Division’s growth and profitability.
* Developing pricing strategy to support negotiations for selected accounts and contracts.
* Develop target pricing rates and model future impact of changes to pricing levels, including cost structure analysis (e.g. impact of raw material cost changes).
* Supporting the pricing approval process and trigger mass price changes.
* Close exchange with sales team on tactical pricing actions.
**Sales and Market Analysis**
* Conceptualize standard reporting, e.g. on customer profitability, price changes
* Setup and enable regional pricing tool key user and facilitate training needs of e.g. new sales managers. Reporting technical issues encountered and contributing to develop the corporate pricing tools
**Knowledge:**
* Managing pricing processes that involve cross-functional partners.
* Working with various levels of the organization including leadership, peers, and junior team members.
* Developing pricing models and pricing strategy in a B2B market environment.
* Performing competitive pricing analysis to understand market position.
* Supporting business decisions with business cases and analysis.
* Expertise building models in MS Excel, including usage of Pivot Tables.
* Developing MS PowerPoint presentations to present analysis results and business cases.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Experience working with databases and information systems (BW, ERP/SAP, CRM) is a plus.
* Strong general marketing knowledge and experience including market segmentation and positioning.
* Superb analytical and critical thinking skills; strong organizational skills.

* Good oral and written communications skills in English language; ability to effectively interface with all levels and types of internal and external employees and business associates.

**Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or similar is required.
* A proven track record of providing financial and market analysis in a B2B environment
* A minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing, Product Management, B2B marketing or similar is preferred
* 7 – 10 years of experience in at Industrial manufacturing company is preferred.
