We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented biologist to join our team. As a Post-Doctoral Scientist, you will be part of our interdisciplinary group developing microbial solutions for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the area of methanol-based fermentations and microbial physiology.
* Your role will involve cultivating methanol utilizing microorganisms and evaluating their potential for the production of various target molecules.
* Collaboratively, you will plan, coordinate, and execute experiments to benchmark methanol-consuming microorganisms, including necessary safety assessments.
* You will participate in IP, competitor, and literature analysis to create an overview of the state-of-the-art in methanol fermentation.
* In cooperation with other scientists in the department, internal service providers, and external partners, you will have the opportunity to experience research in an industrial environment.
