Anforderungen
- •Strong interest in sociology of emotions and political sociology
- •Strong interest in research on loneliness and politics of emotions
- •PhD in sociology or related disciplines
- •Outstanding dissertation
- •Proficiency in social science qualitative research methods
- •Keen interest in advanced skills in discourse analysis and social network analysis
- •Experience with scientific writing and presenting
- •Excellent command of written and spoken English
- •Proficiency in an additional foreign language (Italian, Dutch) is an asset
- •Demonstrated ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
- •Research competence and initiative proven through international publications
- •Experience in research management
- •Team player and high social/communicative skills

Deine Aufgaben
- •Build an independent research profile in political sociology and emotion research
- •Plan and execute empirical research for the ERC project
- •Engage in research projects on radicalization, social isolation, and loneliness
- •Publish research findings internationally
- •Deliver lectures on relevant topics
- •Apply for related projects and secure additional funding
- •Mentor students and junior members of the LONERS project
- •Participate in evaluation measures and quality assurance
- •Develop personal research interests within political sociology
- •Attend national and international conferences and project meetings
- •Write scientific publications
- •Conduct literature reviews and refine analytical schemes
- •Support the coordinator in report preparation and social impact activities
- •Collaborate with the Faculty of Social Sciences and research team
