As a Planning and Fulfillment Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead-time, ensuring the seamless availability of materials and resources. **How you’ll make an impact** * Oversee the site planning process, including Demand Planning, Sales & Operation Planning, Master Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Materials Planning * Ensure on-time material availability on the shop floor and coordinate responses to unplanned events * Own the inventory forecast and optimize inventory processes for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and contract assets * Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize customer delivery, lead-time, inventory, material availability, and resource utilization * Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget, develop programs to enhance warehouse performance, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental directives * Provide leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs * Lead and develop the local planning, operative purchasing, order handling, and warehouse teams * Support the profitable execution of customer and purchase orders in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and strategic procurement **Your background** * Proven experience in operations planning, inventory management, and warehouse management, at least 3 years of experience as a manager * Strong leadership and team development skills * Ability to analyze and propose solutions for planning and fulfillment challenges * Experience with SAP, integrated ERP systems and planning tools * Knowledge of lean six sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies * Excellent communication and coordination skills in German and English * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unplanned events effectively * Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and compliance requirements **More about us** * An attractive salary according to the paper collective agreement * A collectively agreed annual special payment as an employee (Christmas bonus) and holiday pay * Various training and further education opportunities * Familiar working atmosphere and respectful interaction * 30 days holiday entitlement with a 5-day week and a 40-hour week * Employer-financed company pension plan & direct insurance * Children's holiday home and childcare allowance * Provision of work clothes and protective work equipment incl. laundry service * Use of many gyms throughout Germany with over 7500 partners for your workout with our EGYM Wellpass
