Anforderungen

•Self-motivation
•MsC degree in Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences and Technology, or solid academic background in Biomaterial Sciences, Musculoskeletal Biology, Biofabrication, Immunology, or similar disciplines
•Proven laboratory skills in cell culture, biochemistry assays, biofabrication
•Good English language skills
•Familiarity with a cross-cultural/interdisciplinary environment
•Eligibility to apply and obtain a Visa for temporary residence in Switzerland

•Develop 3D models of intervertebral discs
•Study intervertebral disc physiology and disease
•Investigate the immune compartment's role in disc degeneration
•Explore regeneration and discogenic pain
•Collaborate with another PhD student on mechanobiological aspects
•Engage in international collaboration with University La Sorbonne and University of Nantes
•Advance understanding of disc degeneration
