## Your personal sphere of influence:
We plan to investigate the slow dynamics emerging in solutions of short and stiff circular polyelectrolytes with varying stiffness. The project will be computational in nature, involving monomer-resolved simulations of such macromolecules, calculating properties such as diffusivities and relaxation functions and performing structural diagnostics for the system. The work will be performed in the group of Prof. Christos Likos at the University of Vienna in collaboration with the experimental group of Dr. Emmanuel Stiakakis at the Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany.
The PhD Project is partially funded by the EU Doctoral Network QLUSTER (HORIZON-MSCA-DN-2021, 101072964).
Please note that, according to the mobility rules established by the EC, the candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc) in Austria for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the recruitment date. Candidates not fulfilling this rule are not eligible.
