PhD Position(m/w/x)

In this PhD position, you will engage in cutting-edge research on computational modeling, develop innovative real-time simulation models, and work on projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and emissions in industrial processes.

Anforderungen

• •Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Science, or related field
• •Solid background in classical simulation techniques (e.g., CFD, CFD-DEM)
• •Strong programming skills in at least one scientific computing language
• •Interest in or willingness to learn deep learning or data-driven modeling methods
• •Beneficial: Experience with machine learning frameworks and physics-based simulations
• •Experimental skills for validation experiments
• •Willingness to conduct on-site visits and talk to responsible people from development and production
• •German language skills desirable
