## Job Description
**DATA VALIDATION**
In this role, you will validate PCF data from both existing and new suppliers to secure reliable data for reporting to Global Sustainability. You will conduct sense-checks and audits following a risk-based approach and the 4-eye principle, reviewing documentation such as methodologies, data sources, and calculation processes to ensure credibility and reliability. Additionally, you will assess the transparency and robustness of the methods used by suppliers, cross-reference their data with industry standards and benchmarks, and confirm that all relevant emissions scopes (Scope 1, 2, and 3) are correctly accounted for.
**CONSULTING AND STAKEHOLDER SUPPORT**
You will provide guidance and support to internal departments and suppliers regarding PCF optimization measures and their impact on carbon footprint reduction. By acting as a consultant, you will help stakeholders understand the validation requirements and develop reliable PCF calculations that contribute to our sustainability objectives.
**OPERATIONALIZE AND EXECUTE GUIDELINES**
A key part of your role will be to develop and implement standardized processes for assessing supplier data in close collaboration with Global Procurement, Global Sustainability, and other relevant stakeholders. You will ensure that suppliers, co-packers, and partners comply with company guidelines and, where necessary, break down reporting standards into market- or supplier-specific guidelines. You will also guide and, if needed, directly support main suppliers in achieving robust and reliable PCF calculation processes.
**MANAGE EXTERNAL SUPPORT**
Where external expertise is required, you will be responsible for selecting and coordinating with external experts to carry out data validation effectively and efficiently.
**BE THE EXPERT**
As the subject matter expert, you will share your knowledge and insights with internal teams and operational roles, supporting them in executing their tasks related to PCF validation and ensuring that best practices are embedded across the organization.
