**The role**
At Zühlke, we know that great leadership comes in many forms. We are looking for a skilled Payroll Co-Team Lead (50% work load) to join our global People & Culture (P&C) team in a job share model. In this role, you will partner closely with your job share counterpart to ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of payroll services across all Zühlke locations.
This is a part-time leadership opportunity for someone who brings strong payroll expertise, thrives in collaborative environments, and values flexibility. You will not have disciplinary responsibility; instead, you’ll focus on operational leadership and process alignment.
**How you’ll make impact**
* Manage day-to-day payroll operations together with your job share partner, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
* Act as a trusted expert and internal point of contact for payroll-related questions, issues, and improvements.
* Coordinate internal SAP payroll processes within the team and liaise with Accounting and SAP Payroll consultants.
* Collaborate closely with P&C Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, and Finance teams to align processes and integrate systems (e.g. Workday, Vertec).
* Support audit readiness and manage payroll-related risks and controls.
* Contribute to global alignment efforts, ensuring consistent standards and a high-quality employee experience.
* Serve as the main contact point for employee requests, escalations and external authorities.
**What’s important to us**
* Several years of experience in Swiss payroll; additional international exposure is a plus.
* Sound knowledge of labour law, social security, and payroll audits.
* Experience working with digital HR tools – Workday knowledge is a strong asset.
* Strong communication skills in German and English.
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a job share and cross-functional setup.
* High attention to detail and a solution-oriented, service-minded approach.
**What we offer**
* Work life blend: we offer a safe & healthy workplace, with flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home.
* Profit share scheme: In addition to your annual salary, you may receive a profit share defined by the company’s success in the previous year.
* Global and Diverse Zühlke community: witness how colleagues from all our 16 offices across the globe come together to create a unique, positive and inclusive work culture, learning from one another at annual team camps, and celebrating year-end parties and other local festivities.
* Committed to development: we are committed to the growth of our people and are investing in your development. We’re empowering you to build the skills you need to make a positive impact, both personally and for our clients, today and in the future.
