# Packaging and Validation Engineer.
**Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Switzerland** | **Full time** | **Flexible Work Arrangement**
# A Day in the Life
• Conduct packaging and first article inspections activities for new products.
• May perform installation, validation or engineering activities on production equipment.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
* Perform packaging labels verifications, first article inspections and complete quality records for new product release authorizations.
* Support engineering studies and implements equipment or process modifications to meet quality standards, improve productivity and reduce cost for market release products.
* May perform Installation Qualification, Test Method Validation or Operational Performance Qualification validation activities on manufacturing processes.
* Collaborate with Design, Regulatory, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams to assess and implement changes.
* Ensure processes comply with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO, GMP)
* Occasionally, lead investigations into equipment failures and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
**TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:**An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.
