Anforderungen

•BE/BS or ME/MS in engineering or equivalent technical training
•5+ years of professional work experience as NPI or Manufacturing engineer
•Minimum 2 years of process development or manufacturing engineering experience
•Knowledge of imaging optics and related manufacturing processes
•Enthusiasm for technological development in medical robotic surgery
•Great attitude and willingness to take initiative and responsibility
•Practical approach to manufacturing processes
•Strong work ethic and desire to learn
•Strong process-oriented thinking
•Advanced communication skills for relationship building and negotiation
•Excellent communication and documentation skills in German and English
•Computer literacy with experience in Windows, Office, and SAP
•Ability to explain assembly processes clearly
•Knowledge in statistical analysis for process capability and validation
•Experience in ISO9001/13485 or medical device manufacturing
•New product introduction/development experience
•Willingness to travel internationally (up to approx. 10% per year)
•Willingness to learn new software tools, e.g. SAP, Polarion, JIRA

Deine Aufgaben

•Develop and improve efficient manufacturing assembly processes
•Identify and introduce new process innovations
•Specify, document, and implement manufacturing fixtures and equipment
•Define and execute tests to verify process stability and capability
•Support design engineering in defining critical design features
•Incorporate inspection and test checkpoints into processes
•Develop and validate assembly processes from prototype to production
•Identify improvements for yield, cycle time, reliability, and cost
•Support changes with measurement series to verify effectiveness
•Troubleshoot non-conformance events in manufacturing lines
•Perform root cause analysis with cross-functional teams
•Introduce preventive and corrective actions in collaboration with teams
•Ensure compliance with QMS, DOPs, SOPs, and safety regulations
