# Money Market Execution Desk AVP **Zurich Switzerland** | **Full time** The Banking & Lending Operations Assistant Vice President is a senior role within the UKEMEA Wealth (Private Bank) Banking & Lending Swiss Operations Team based in Zurich. The main responsibilities include execution of client orders for banking products (fiduciary placements, time deposits, Islamic investments and others), issuance of Standby Letters of Credit (Bank Guarantees) and tasks related to credit collateral monitoring. This role also requires driving various initiatives as well as support operations transformation projects to improve efficiency and excellence. Given the diversity of the role, the demanding client segment and the involvement of large value transactions, we are looking for applicants who have experience in money market operations and preferably experience in the area of standard and non-standard Bank Guarantees. We are looking for applicants who have worked in a fast-paced environment, who enjoy working under pressure against multiple daily deadlines, who are service oriented and who diligently executes procedures, policies & controls. The role offers great opportunity to gain insight of Wealth Management Business and its Banking & Lending products as well as to have ongoing close interaction with local, regional and global partners within Citi Wealth Private Bank Business and Operations Service Centers. The **key responsibilities**: * Issuance of Bank Guarantees (standby letter of credit) * Collateral Monitoring & Credit related tasks * Execution of client orders for banking products * Execution of Murabaha trades with commodity brokers * Compile and issue periodic management information to support governance processes * Act as the backup to the team lead * Support various initiatives and projects to improve efficiency and excellence * Record Management * Performing periodic control testing **Qualifications:** * 3 years or more of experience in Banking / Lending Operations * Expert know-how for Bank Guarantees (Standby Letters of Credit) * Familiarized with Credit Risk and Collateral Management * Aware of the interest rate market and deposit products * General understanding of Banking & Lending Products * Able to work diligently under time pressure on concurrent activities * Ability to collaborate across teams * Ability to take on new assignments **Education:** * Bachelor’s / University Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance * Mother tongue or Degree in English * Able to speak and write in German or French is an asset This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
