Anforderungen
- •Basic Unix/Linux knowledge, especially RHEL Enterprise Linux
- •Skill in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
- •Proficiency in backup and restore methodologies
- •Willingness to participate in on-call duties after onboarding
- •Upper-Intermediate level of English
- •German at native level
- •Experience with DB2 LUW versions 10.1, 10.5, and 11.5
- •Familiarity with DB2 utilities for maintenance and administration
- •Hands-on experience with DB2 in high-availability environments
- •Experience with tools typically found in DB2 environments
- •Understanding of DB2 security mechanisms
- •Strong communication skills, team-oriented approach, and proactive mindset
- •Willingness to travel occasionally for business trips to clients in Austria and Germany
- •Readiness to participate in on-call rotations after completing training

- •Design and manage DB2 LUW servers
- •Build and operate a high-availability DB2 LUW environment, including pureScale
- •Use and manage standard DB2 Data Movement Utilities
- •Create and maintain DB2 database objects
- •Monitor and optimize SQL performance for Java JDBC applications
- •Troubleshoot and resolve database and performance issues
- •Implement and manage DB2 security features to protect sensitive data
- •Support backup and recovery operations and strategies
- •Collaborate with teams to support the database lifecycle in development, test, and production environments
