In this role, you will work as a scientific expert (80% field-based), focusing on high-level scientific exchange with external experts. Your area of responsibility includes identifying and analyzing medical needs, as well as generating relevant insights that contribute to the advancement of therapeutic approaches. In addition, you will support the cross-functional team in the therapeutic area to ensure that all team members can optimally fulfill their specific tasks.

**Responsibilities:**
* Promote scientific exchange: Identify and maintain ongoing contact with specialists and key experts (80% of working time)
* Identify local medical practices, trends, or knowledge and evidence gaps
* Work closely with the Medical Affairs Manager to plan and implement clinical activities
* Provide scientific support to investigators and sites participating in AstraZeneca clinical or non-interventional studies (NIS)
* Plan and conduct advisory boards, round tables, and regional medical training events (virtual and face-to-face)
* Prepare and deliver scientific presentations at external events, as well as medical training for new employees and regular ongoing education
* Regularly update your scientific and practical knowledge and participate in conferences and medical training events
* Respond to medical inquiries
* Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Market Access, Diagnostics, Marketing, and other functions
**Your Profile:**
