Anforderungen

  • •Degree in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, or comparable qualification
  • •Several years of professional experience in the design of plastic housings, ideally in the field of power tools
  • •Experience with plastic-compatible design and tool design
  • •Very good knowledge of CAD systems and technical documentation
  • •Very good German and English skills
  • •Structured and proactive working style

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Design innovative mechanical components and plastic housings for hand-held power tools
  • •Create CAD models and technical drawings with Creo
  • •Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance teams
  • •Select materials and manufacturing processes for plastic parts, including injection molding and 3D printing
  • •Support external service providers and suppliers in toolmaking and series production
  • •Perform tolerance analyses, FEM calculations, and design reviews
  • •Conduct virtual assembly (DFA) to optimize assembly and service processes
  • •Execute D-FMEA
  • •Manage the buildup and validation of prototypes
