We bring joy to mobility – are you in? Our **Business Area Electrification (EE)** develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions. **You can look forward to these exciting tasks:** * Development, integration and optimization of automation systems for fully automated production facilities, taking into account OT standards * Design and implementation of control solutions using PLC, HMI, SCADA and other relevant systems such as MES integration (REST API interfaces, general database connections) * Responsibility for the commissioning of automation solutions, troubleshooting and conducting tests to ensure functionality, including seamless integration between IT and OT systems, covering network configurations, security requirements and data transmission * Project management responsibility for automation projects, including scheduling and resource management * Creation of technical documentation, user manuals and training materials as well as training employees and users on new automation solutions and providing ongoing operational support **This is what you bring to us:** * Completed degree in automation engineering or a comparable qualification * Extensive experience in programming and configuring PLCs (Siemens and Beckhoff), HMI/SCADA systems, with basic knowledge of Visual Basic and safety programming desirable * Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems, along with basic knowledge in the OT domain, particularly in the integration and operation of automation systems * Excellent knowledge of communication and network technologies (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, MQTT) and experience with cybersecurity and OT security standards * Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken * Basic knowledge of robot programming (KUKA) is a plus Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome. **Your contact person:** Katharina Fiegert, People & Organization Schierling ## Benefits Twelve Icons Flexibles Arbeitsmodell Work Life Balance Karriere & Entwicklung Gesundheit & Pflege Arbeitskultur & Umfeld Zusätzliche Benefits Information at a Glance Job Area: Production & Operations Entry Level: Professionals (3+ years) Type of Contract: Permanent Req Id: 34354 Job Location: Frühaufstraße 7, 84069 Schierling, (Großraum Regensburg), Germany Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains.
