# MBA Student Engagement Coordination Intern Contract Type: Fixed-term maximal Location: Lausanne, CH **MBA Student Engagement Coordination Intern (100%) / 1 August 2025 – 31 January 2026** **The Job's Mission** IMD (Institute for Management Development) is a self-owned foundation dedicated to the development of international business executives at each stage in their careers based on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne, Switzerland. We are looking for a dynamic intern to support the MBA Student Engagement and Academic Affairs related operations. Our MBA program is delivered face-to-face. **Key activities & accountabilities** Supporting the Student Engagement Team in the following areas: • Support the organization of the MBA programs with high-level service and world-class standards • Support the coordination of the production of the daily program schedule and teaching material with Faculty members and other internal departments (marketing, print-shop, restaurant, etc.) • Support the International Consulting Projects (ICPs) coordination • Handle administrative tasks, follow-up with different departments, and ensure program logistics such as organising special events, meetings, and support to guest speakers • Support the creation of Learning Portals as pre-program information for participants from around the world to prepare for their arrival • Provide support to participants during the program • Carry out general secretarial and other duties as required • Support with digital sessions • Support the preparation with the teaching material and help for document or database researches **Formula for success** **Education** • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality management, in Tourism or in Marketing • Commercial diploma with strong experience in a multicultural customer relations role is also possible **Experience** • Experience of other cultures or working in an international environment • Demonstrated organization and administration skills • Strong interpersonal skills **Requirements** • Ability to handle multiple priorities in an independent manner • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills • Team player is a must, as you will work closely to other members of the Student Engagement & Academic Affairs department and the students/participants • Stress management, customer-oriented, professional • Time management, organization, and coordination skills • Diplomatic and discreet, proactive • Excellent English and Good French; other languages are an advantage • Computer literate (MS Office) A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
