**Your location**
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we support Airbus Helicopters in developing helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

**Business Unit**
You will be working for the Safety Business Unit of Airbus Protect in Donauwörth as a Engineer Material & Process in the helicopter industry.
**Your tasks and responsibilities**
* First processing of material obsolescences in an aeronautical environment under supervision
* Support in the implementation of REACH topics
* Preliminary investigation, development and qualification of organic materials and processes
* Supporting design, statics, manufacturing and maintenance with regard to issues relating to organic materials and processes
* Creation of material specifications and manufacturing instructions
* Processing production deviations, quality reports and incidents from flight operations
* Processing and support in the area of material obsolescence
* Implementation of new ways of working as digitalization progresses in the Airbus Group
**Desired skills and qualifications**
* Completed a university degree in Chemistry or Aerospace Engineering or Material Science
* First experience in engineeringof organic materials and associated testing methods in aerospace (especially polymers) would be a great advantage
* Knowledge of polyreactions of resins and adhesives and the consolidation of thermoplastic materials would be welcome
* Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills
* Willing to learn new things
* Able to perform several Systems Safety tasks in parallel
* Team player, organized and autonomous person with good communication skills
* Very good written and spoken English and German (B2)
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
