**Your role:**
We offer the opportunity for a master thesis in the field of Protein Formulation. By joining our Liquid Formulation R&D as part of the Life Science sector, you will be part of a cross-disciplinary team addressing a broad range of biomolecules (e.g. proteins, nucleic acids, viruses).
Your thesis will be a part of an ongoing research project focusing on protein-based therapeutics formulation, at which you will contribute to the development of tailor-made protein formulations for therapy.
You will perform laboratory experiments including but not limited to state-of-the art analytical methods to determine stability and characteristics of proteins in liquid formulations, analyze and interpret data as well as present your results in meetings.
**Who you are:**
* Currently enrolled as master student of Life Sciences. Preferably with a focus on molecular biology, biophysics, biotechnology and/or biochemistry.
* Experience in handling recombinant proteins especially purification and characterization thereof.
* Strong analytical skills in state-of-the art analytical methods to determine stability of protein containing formulations such as SE-HPLC, light scattering and spectroscopical methods including fluorescence to name a few.
* You should be a highly curious, creative, self-motivated, collaborative individual with good communication skills, who is able to work independently.
* Fluency in English and conversational German desirable
