# Master thesis Exterior Light (f/m/x)
**THE BEST INTERNSHIP IN THEORY - AND IN PRACTICE.**
**SHARE YOUR PASSION.**
World-leading technologies don’t make it into a BMW until they’ve undergone one of the most challenging journeys imaginable. It takes dynamic teams with outstanding technical skills to take them from the drawing board to the road. That’s why our experts will treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.
We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Master thesis in the area of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of electrical components and their experimental validation using advanced measurement techniques and modern data analysis.
**What awaits you?**
* Insights into the interface between simulation and validation.
* Hands-on experience in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations.
* Analysis of material properties and their influence on simulations.
* Experimental validation through advanced measurement techniques.
* Data evaluation using modern analysis methods, including computer vision and neural networks.
Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.
**What should you bring along?**
* Studies in in a relevant field of study.
* Programming skills in Python or MATLAB.
* Previous experience in at least one of metrology, data analysis using computer vision and neural networks, or a strong background in materials science.
