  • •Act as the primary scientific advisor on Mars Science
  • •Define priorities for Mars and Beyond Science within Explore2040
  • •Establish scientific objectives for ground-based and flight activities
  • •Lead the selection of scientific activities and payloads for missions
  • •Select and manage science teams for Mars and Beyond activities
  • •Prepare and disseminate science data products
  • •Engage with the science community and ESA’s advisory structure
  • •Support teams in coordinating with international partners
  • •Manage the delegated budget for Mars and Beyond Science
  • •Define science benefits and messaging for Mars and Beyond
  • •Provide executive secretariat services to relevant working groups
  • •Identify and manage health and safety risks in your area
