Anforderungen

  • •At least 8 years of experience in the Maritime industry or 1 year experience in steel and paint inspections in ship’s new building projects
  • •Extended knowledge of cruise ship operation and marine systems
  • •Strategic thinking and solid business decision-making

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Oversee nautical inspections and design development
  • •Maintain Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) Safety Standards
  • •Assist the Marine Superintendent in budget observation
  • •Attend official shipyard inspections, including steel and deck outfitting
  • •Inspect surface preparation, paint application, and firefighting systems
  • •Evaluate fire detection, navigation, lifesaving, safety, security, and medical equipment
  • •Coordinate with shipyard, suppliers, consultants, and Disney Cruise Line Operations
  • •Collaborate with the onboard Disney Cruise Line Deck Department
  • •Provide feedback on maintenance opportunities for new builds
  • •Ensure compliance with International rules and regulations
  • •Assist with nautical aspects during official shipyard meetings
  • •Support planning for the Start-up Operations Team
  • •Coordinate with the Captain and Staff Captain during Sea Trials
  • •Work with the Logistics Superintendent on Nautical Owners Furnished Equipment
  • •Perform additional duties as delegated by the Marine Superintendent
