Anforderungen

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development within aviation
  • Proven ability to achieve targets in dynamic sales environment

Deine Aufgaben

  • Report to the Head of Central Sales
  • Support sales of sponsorship and exhibition for IATA's global events
  • Conduct commercial negotiations
  • Apply account management skills
  • Oversee usage of corporate tools and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with internal colleagues, especially the Events and Sales teams
  • Manage all event commercial revenues outside of event passes
  • Sell advertising in IATA's products and services
  • Define and execute a sales strategy for event sponsorship
  • Ensure delivery of sales and revenue targets
  • Manage account extensions and renewals
  • Up-sell and cross-sell to existing customers
  • Adjust sales strategy based on changing environments
  • Secure sponsorship revenue for various event aspects
  • Support applications for applicable event subsidies
  • Define and execute a sales strategy for advertising revenue
  • Ensure delivery of advertising revenue targets
  • Work with the Events team to establish commercial success criteria for new events
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Insights and Product teams to meet advertising objectives
  • Ensure customer satisfaction post-sponsorship and advertising investments
  • Apply chosen sales methodology and corporate tools consistently
  • Identify new markets, segments, and opportunities
  • Participate in the annual target exercise with Product Managers and Director of Global Sales
  • Lead customer engagement and negotiations
  • Engage with regional and local offices to develop leads
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales pipeline status
  • Collaborate with Marketing and sales channels on lead conversion
  • Work with regional colleagues and head office on support functions
  • Provide feedback on pricing and functionalities to Product Managers
  • Support Order to Cash and Customer Service activities
  • Monitor commercial debts and achieve targeted bad debt levels
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by the Director of Global Sales
