Anforderungen

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
•2+ years experience in working with space hardware
•Experience with milling and CNC machining
•Experienced with mechanical design and GD&T
•Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
•Fluent in English
•Familiarity with new spatial environment (2+ years)
•Knowledge of structural analysis tools (FEM)
•Experienced with mechanisms for high-precision structures

Deine Aufgaben

•Support development activities for in-space manufacturing technology
•Design mechanical breadboards and ground support equipment (GSEs)
•Produce engineering drawings for mechanical parts
•Coordinate production of mechanical parts with external suppliers
•Manufacture mechanical parts in-house using CNC milling and 3D printing
•Assemble prototypes and flight hardware
•Perform testing activities from component to system level
•Participate in qualification campaigns and acceptance testing of flight hardware
•Support customers during final integration of payloads
•Produce technical documentation and participate in reviews with external stakeholders
