# Luxury Sales Manager **Berlin, Germany** | **Full time** **Job Description :** **Location: Berlin** **Languages Required: Fluent German and English** **About the Role** The Luxury Sales Manager is the personification of Diageo’s ambition: to become the best-performing, most-trusted consumer goods company in the world and to build category-leading partnerships with industry-leading outlets. We are looking for someone with a sophisticated sense of style, who can present themselves and our products in a way that reflects the luxury brands’ image and values. You possess a strong knowledge of brand and production processes, as you are selling the history and heritage of the luxury brand you represent. You are well-connected within the German bartending and gastronomy scene, with knowledge of wholesale and retail businesses, and you have a proven track record of building brands in this trend-leading space. You have a high affinity for luxury brands and have an in-depth understanding of the luxury consumer and how to engage with them. You can establish and keep excellent relationships with key influencers in the industry and beyond, and you know the most relevant places to go. You engage with decision-makers of the On-Trade and Off-Trade network to ensure the perfect execution in our outlet universe. Your job isn’t done until our products are visible to consumers, and you engage the consumer by driving awareness and brand passion for our products. **Top Accountabilities** * Become the point of contact for our Luxury On-Trade Universe. * Selling high-end products which are expensive and exclusive to a niche market. * Be accountable for the commercial outcome of around 80-100 premium customers like Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, and Hotels. * Lead Diageo's distribution, activation, promotion, and innovation agenda, particularly for the Luxury portfolio in the defined outlet universe. * Ensure our brands are available and have the perfect visibility in back bars, menus and on shelf. * Negotiate and craft contracts with our gastronomy partners to ensure brilliant execution for our luxury portfolio. * Develop profitable activation programs while partnering with our customers and ensure that these are reflected in commercial agreements. * Ensure that your work and all initiatives are tracked in our CRM tool. **About You** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals and affluent customers. * Strong negotiation skills in order to close the deals. * Ability to understand customer requirements and match these with Diageo portfolio plans. * Good understanding of industry trends, social influences, and business drivers, brands. * Strong in building connections and relationships. * Understanding of mixology, a passion for spirits, ability to deliver strong execution and engage with customers/consumers and other relevant partners. **Our Offer** * An inclusive company culture that puts employees and their development first * 30 days of vacation * A competitive salary with bonus and many benefits that suit your lifestyle * An industry leading parental leave policy * …and of course, THE best colleagues! **Worker Type :** Regular **Primary Location:** Hamburg **Additional Locations :** **Job Posting Start Date :** 2025-05-07
