# Logistics Coordinator
**Bayreuth**
Within the Transmission Business Unit, as part of the Supply Chain organization, the Logistics Coordinator orchestrates the supply chain to enable a flawless high voltage cable installation.
The Logistics Coordinator is executing the logistics coordination activities of a high voltage cable project.
Responsibility of the Logistics Coordinator are:
* Coordination of multimodal, intermediate storage and last leg transport (these 3 areas are shared between other logistics coordinators – each expected to focus on certain area)
* translating of customer requirements into logistics solutions
* closely collaborate with (other parts of the) supply chain organization to align and implement work methods and best practices
* Collaboration with project management and other key functions
* Overseeing the key Subcontractors by maintaining the relationship and coordinating potential issues
* Reporting on project progress and subcontractor performance
* Managing the interface with the customer regarding specifications of storage, transport, drum and other logistic topics
