| **What you will enjoy doing** * In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the legal function in the broadest sense covering the operations of Linde Gas Austria * Your primary focus will be on commercial contract law, where you will review, draft and negotiate contracts related to sales and procurement * Developing and maintaining contract templates and general terms and conditions will be part of your duties, along with ensuring compliance with Austrian and EU regulatory frameworks, including data protection and ESG (environmental, social and governance) * You will identify proactive solutions to eliminate or mitigate risks for the organization * As a mid-senior level professional, you will be an integral part of Linde's Global Law Department, reporting to the Head of Legal - Cluster Austria and Hungary * For those based outside of Stadl-Paura, we request flexibility to travel to our primary location at least 3 days per week to actively collaborate and contribute on-site **What makes you great** * You are fluent in German and possess excellent English language skills, both spoken and written * In addition, you obtained a university degree in law in Austria, and you have successfully passed the Austrian bar exam * You have at least three years of professional experience after bar exam as in-house lawyer or in a law firm, preferably within a large international environment or with international clientele * You have substantial expertise in commercial and civil law and gained significant experience in working with senior management in and outside your organisation, as well as working in a matrix organization * You can confidently lead complex negotiations in, and then reflect in drafting the agreed points arising from, demanding transactions with major customers making large-scale investments with Linde * Excellent communication skills, critical and strategic thinking, and a strong commercial mindset complete your profile |

For this position there is provided a minimum basic salary in accordance with the collective agreement for employees in the chemical industry section in remuneration group IV/1 u. 2 (monthly gross salary EUR 4.270,14). Your professional and personal skills as well as your professional work experience will be taken into account when determining the regular monthly salary.
