## Job Description
**THE CHALLENGE:**
* Partner with our commercial and advertising teams to understand their priorities and help them to achieve their objectives.
* Manage contract drafting, review and negotiation across a range of commercial agreements with external partners and collaborate with key internal partners to bring those agreements to execution.
* Synthesize regulatory issues and legal implications that may impact our digital advertising business and provide compliance guidance to business partners and those within the team.
* Identify risks and propose alternative structures to mitigate risks involved in sales proposals and other commercial opportunities related to the Sportradar business.
* Work in connection with Sports Partnerships teams to interpret complex rights agreements to ensure compliance therewith in connection with monetization activities; manage day-to-day rights analysis and application to various business initiatives; provide legal representation on partnership activation and rights management efforts for Sports Partnerships and Sales.
* Develop a deep understanding of Sportradar’s products and services and advise on (i) commercial contracts for the same, (ii) adjustments thereof and subsequent iterations thereof, (iii) and go-to-market strategies surrounding the same.
* Collaborate with members of the global legal team on non-US transactional matters and support where needed; advise global sales teams on matters arising from key global accounts with US implications.
* Support members of the North American Legal and business teams with licensing, compliance, government affairs, contracting process and corporate governance tasks as needed.
* Participate in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications of all matters on an as needed basis and in connection with the rest of the North American Legal team.
* Willingness and ability to manage numerous deals, meet tight deadlines, and work extended hours when necessary to complete Ad hoc projects, as needed
**ABOUT YOU:**
* 3+ years of commercial/contracting and advertising law with experience in digital advertising and/or affiliate marketing
* Member of a US or equivalent European licensed bar in good standing
* JD degree or equivalent
* Business experience in drafting and negotiating long-term contracts with large customers who have negotiating leverage
* Knowledge of gaming law and regulation, contract law, intellectual property law, and corporate law preferred
* Ability to communicate effectively with business professionals and other in-house attorneys
* Willingness to work autonomously and independently, as well as part of a team, and exert ownership over an area of the legal team’s support function to relevant business units
* Demonstrated ability to be effective and exercise influence in a fast-paced organization, exercise excellent legal and business judgement in challenging situations
* High degree of business acumen and product/technology understanding
