This role involves taking a proactive approach in the development and maintenance of robust financial systems and fostering a culture of financial excellence. **Your responsibilities:** * Planning: Conduct annual planning of investments, costs, services, and tariffs in alignment with corporate goals and developed measures * Standard Costs: Determine workstation rates and calculate standard costs per item, including reconciling standard cost developments from the current to the new financial year * Forecasting: Prepare monthly forecasts for plant results, inventories, and capital expenditures (Capex) * Financial Closing: Ensure accurate execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant * Controlling and Accounting: Oversee controlling, accounting, time wage recording, REFA time studies, and technical change management * Variance Analysis: Create and process variance analyses to identify and address discrepancies * Profitability Calculations: Prepare profitability calculations and make-or-buy analyses to support decision-making * Project Management: Manage project controlling for the investment portfolio, focusing on project evaluation, investment calculations, and ensuring compliance with approved budgets and milestones * Inventory Management: Organize and implement the annual inventory at the company and liaise with auditors. **Your profile:** * Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Business Administration with a focus on controlling or an equivalent qualification. * Professional Experience: Extensive experience in controlling, ideally in a managerial capacity. * Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership position with the ability to actively shape and drive the role. * Process and Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of processes along the value chain and strong technical acumen. * Financial Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning. * SAP Financial Planning and Analysis: Experienced in working with SAP FP&A. * Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, enabling effective partnership with business stakeholders * Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving. * Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams * Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English. **We offer:** * Flexible working time model * Comprehensive health management with attractive offers e.g. Bike-leasing, Health Cashback, Hansefit * Use of our wide-ranged employee offers (discounts travel, fashion, media, mobile phone etc.) * Diversity & Inclusion: all people have the same opportunities and are individually supported * A highly motivated, appreciative and international team that inspires you to learn from
