Anforderungen

  • PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or equivalent subject
  • Publication record in quantum machine learning or variational quantum algorithms
  • Advanced expertise in one or more quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Pennylane, Cirq, Quipper, Scaffold, tket)
  • Advanced experience working with variational quantum algorithms for machine learning
  • Experience working with classical machine learning algorithms
  • Computational learning theory expertise
  • Expert knowledge in Python
  • Expert knowledge in Pytorch and TensorFlow
  • Experience in programming for GPUs
  • Experience in working with QPUs
  • Goal-oriented, analytical and ability to work independently
  • Flexible, proactive, and creative with ability to work in a team
  • Highly motivated and resilient with ability to work interdisciplinary
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Conduct fundamental research in quantum machine learning
  • Develop quantum machine learning algorithms for various data processing tasks
  • Stay updated on state-of-the-art approaches in quantum machine learning
  • Analyze parametrized quantum circuits for learning via hybrid quantum-classical optimization
  • Utilize metrics for analyzing parametrized quantum circuit ansatz
  • Enhance trainability of parametrized quantum circuits using batch-entropy regularization
  • Interpret and explain quantum machine learning models
  • Analyze information flow in quantum neural network architectures
  • Research the benefits of quantum in machine learning
  • Develop data encoding and processing techniques for quantum computers
  • Assist in drafting patent applications
  • Write research papers for scientific journals
  • Implement quantum machine learning algorithms efficiently
  • Execute quantum machine learning algorithms on various QPUs
  • Adjust and improve hybrid quantum neural network implementations for QPUs
  • Explore hybridization of classical and quantum machine learning solutions
  • Understand efficient interaction between hardware and software
  • Assist in developing the quantum machine learning SDK
  • Optimize hybrid quantum-classical machine learning code for faster execution
  • Support implementation of industry projects
  • Generate novel ideas based on industry needs in various tasks
  • Brainstorm applications of quantum machine learning for client industry problems
  • Investigate advantages of hybrid quantum-classical machine learning in industrial contexts
  • Assist in writing applied industry research papers for scientific journals
