Join **KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA** and our dedicated Corporate Communications team as **Lead of External Communications**! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting compelling stories, steering high-impact content, leading a team and managing relationships with media, partners, and internal stakeholders. This is a **permanent, full-time position** at our headquarters in **Einbeck**.
**Your tasks:**
* Drive and implement our external communication strategy
* Lead and develop your team for effective collaboration and high-quality output
* Create impactful content, in-house and together with external partners (e.g. articles, posts, videos)
* Manage press and media work, including our annual image magazine “Future with Heritage”
* Support the Executive Board with external appearances and interviews
* Handle crisis communication and corporate positioning
* Monitor and report on communication KPIs (media coverage, web, social media)
* Engage with media partners, industry associations, and stakeholders
* Align communication efforts across functions and with international colleagues
**Your profile:**
* An academic degree in communication studies, journalism or a comparable course of study
* Several years of proven relevant professional experience in the creation of editorial content and press work
* Experience in leading smaller teams is an asset
* Experience in the field of life sciences (e.g. agriculture) is an asset
* IT literacy (MS Office)
* Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
