Position Summary As a “Laboratory Technician”, you will monitor environmental pathogens, perform R&D project related microbial analysis and experiments, maintain laboratory hygiene and safety as well as ensure GLP compliance. **A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Technician**
* Organize and perform activities of environmental, water, and air monitoring for pathogens (pilot plant) and free chlorine in water.
* Act as a deputy for approving analysis requests, releasing results, and liaising with the lab manager in case of non-conformities.
* Conduct and assist on R&D project related experiments and protocols regarding new method development, validation projects, and technical assistance requests.
* Prepare and perform standard microbial analyses for powders and sterility tests.
* Master & provide training on analytical techniques & laboratory work, assuring a high level of compliance with GLP and other laboratory safety standards.
