# Key Account Manager (all genders) City: Heidelberg ## ​Sales​ Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development. ## About the role Step into the role of Key Account Manager at Reckitt, where your mastery of relationship-building and strategic partnering with major national trade players will be fundamental in delivering health, hygiene, and nutrition products to consumers. In this dynamic position, you'll be at the forefront of crafting and realising joint business plans, balancing customer success with our own growth. Your dedication to enriching the customer journey and driving sales will see you thriving in a culture committed to commercial excellence and innovation. ## Your responsibilities In summary, you'll: - Develop robust, strategic relationships with key partners, crafting joint business plans that encompass range, pricing, and promotions. - Take full ownership of the strategic plan for your account, driving sales and managing the profit and loss elements, aligning with the broader company goals. - Partner with marketing and category teams to innovate shopper solutions and drive excellence in market execution. - Lead forecast planning in unison with finance and supply teams to provide stellar customer service and financial consistency. - Lead customer negotiations, representing Reckitt's commercial interests and value-based trading terms effectively. - Work towards continuous enhancement of category management, improving efficiency and profitability. ## The experience we're looking for * Sucessfully graduated minimum in your bachelor - or higher - in Sales or business administration. * A robust track record in Sales with minimum 3 years of experience * Additional experience in trade marketing, e-commerce, or marketing adds a rich layer to your profile. * Demonstrated success in national account sales within FMCG, Consumer Goods, or a similar premium brand environment. * Solid history of managing P & L, budgets, and the expansion of substantial, complex accounts. * High commercial acumen paired with outstanding communication, negotiation, and influence. * A customer-first approach with expertise in nurturing multi-level trade customer relationships. * A driven, results-oriented nature with an entrepreneurial spirit * Excellent communication skills in fluent German and English, nurturing relationships and managing stakeholders with ease. ## The skills for success Key Account Management, Ecommerce, Analysing sales data, Leadership skills, Consumer Insights, Shopper Insights, Category Analysis, Collaboration and partnership skills, Influencing, Consultative Selling, Customer strategy, Channel strategy, Sales strategy development, Perform product planning, Business acumen, commercial acumen, Sales negotiation, P&L Management, Strategy Execution, Operational Excellence. ## Equality We recognise that in real life, great people don't always 'tick all the boxes'.
