## Department Overview
This dedicated sales team is responsible for selling the entire Motorola Solutions Portfolio to Government customers in Central Europe.
At Motorola Solutions we build and connect technologies to help protect people, property and places, enabling critical collaboration between public safety agencies and enterprises for a proactive approach to safety and security.
## Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a **high-performing** individual to join our **Central Europe Government Sales** team as a Key Account Manager for Austria, Slovakia and Hungary; You will be responsible for positioning the **full spectrum of our solutions** directly to our large customers, especially to **defense and public safety** agencies. This includes critical communication as well as video and software solutions incl. services. You'll identify, target, and win new business by building flourishing relationships with both existing and new customers. You will engage in big sales with long sales cycles and will run the entire sales-cycle including lead generation, pipeline management and closing. Throughout the sales cycle you will be supported by different support functions like marketing, bid management, technical architects and sales overlay teams.
**Your daily routine? Activities include but are not limited to:**
* Responsible for driving sales in Austria, Slovakia and Hungary across the entire portfolio with a focus on critical communication, video, software solutions.
* Achieve orders and revenue targets through effective account management and new business growth.
* Relationship building with customers is paramount for long term success. You must become the well-known trusted partner, so that Motorola Solutions is top-of-mind, when needs arise.
* Develop and execute a business plan for customer growth and new sales opportunities.
* Growing the existing accounts by selling the entire portfolio and developing new business.
* Accurately forecasting orders and sales
* Maintain account information and opportunities in Salesforce
* Be fully aware of competition product, solutions and strategies.
* Engage with internal stakeholders like bid management, technical architects, post sales, overlay sales teams, product management finance and legal, etc.
## Basic Requirements
**Essential Skills and Qualifications of the Key Account Manager - Austria, Slovakia and Hungary:**
* Proven solid track record of **successful selling to the government sector.**
* **Several years of relevant sales experience, ideally with governmental/public safety customers.**
* **Being fluent in spoken and written German & English is absolutely essential.**
* Motivated to visit/engage with customers – both new and existing customers. New business- and relationship oriented with strong account management experience.
* Ability to prospect and quickly qualify the new opportunities.
* Effective negotiation skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong presentation abilities.
* Candidate must live in the respective region (or in close vicinity, e.g. Southern Germany, Northern Italy, Switzerland).
