Join our dynamic and dedicated Reserving team for Commercial Insurance within the Non-Life Actuarial Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Zurich. The CoE plays a crucial role in reserving the General Insurance business across multiple European countries as well as the Commercial Insurance business in Europe.

**What you will do**
* You prepare and conduct actuarial analyses, including loss projections, technical reserves calculations for both gross and reinsurance layers, and cash flow projections
* You develop and automate the reserving and financial reporting processes within the Actuarial Center of Excellence (CoE)
* You design innovative solutions and collaborate with other actuaries and IT functions within the group, ensuring the proper implementation and transition of new processes into standard operations
* You ensure that processes and standards align with Zurich’s internal actuarial policies and guidelines, as well as existing regulations
* You coordinate with Finance and Accounting to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of the balance sheet and profit and loss statements
* You provide insights into underlying performance and business implications to Finance, other business functions, and Reserving Actuaries, conducting in-depth reserving analyses on specific portfolios
**What you bring**
* A University degree in mathematics, physics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or a related field
* Initial experience with reserving methods is an advantage
* Willingness to pursue an actuarial qualification or being partly qualified as an actuary (according to local society standards)
* Strong data management and programming skills (e.g. Python, VBA, R) are highly advantageous
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
* A Team player with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a positive attitude
* Fluency in English; German and other languages is an advantage
