Java Developer(m/w/x)

As a Java Developer, you will design and enhance critical trading systems while collaborating with traders and analysts. Your role involves maintaining software, integrating new solutions, and providing support to ensure robust and efficient operations.

Anforderungen

• •In-depth understanding of financial products, particularly FX Options and FX Rates
• •Solid knowledge of banking systems including Core Banking, Trading Platforms, Market Data, Pricing Engines
• •Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development in Java
• •At least 2 years on Java 11+
• •Additional experience in C++ and Visual C++, QT, or related frameworks
• •Over 5 years of experience building mission-critical banking and trading systems
• •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling
• •Familiar with scripting, deployment automation, certificate management, and operational resilience practices
• •Practical experience with messaging middleware such as IBM MQ or ActiveMQ
• •Proficiency with data formats like JSON and Apache Thrift
• •Proficient in Core Java, Spring Framework, JMS, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, Oracle DB, and Maven
• •Experienced in test-driven development using JUnit and Mockito
• •Experienced in Agile/SAFe methodologies, using Jira and Confluence
• •Comfortable with collaborative practices such as pair/mob programming and constructive feedback loops
• •Capable of leading technical designs, incorporating non-functional requirements
• •Addressing aspects such as scalability, security, observability, capacity management, and system lifecycle activities
• •Structured, focused, and adaptable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• •Fluent English skills
• •Good German language skills
