| **Your role and key responsibilities** |
| • Design, implement and maintain IT architectures based on MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to support manufacturing processes • Ensure that IT architectures meet quality standards regarding modularity, interoperability, stability, performance and security while integrating MES with shopfloor equipment (SCADA, PLC) and other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP) • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT Production architectures fulfill business objectives • Support the commissioning of machines during factory ramp-ups • Analyze and resolve architectural issues to maximize business continuity • Stay up to date with the latest IT production technologies and industry trends to recommend architectural improvements • Create architectural roadmaps, documentation and technical specifications • Provide training and support to end users on architectural features/best practices |

| • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, automation/electrical engineering or a related field • Proven experience with MES-based architectures in manufacturing environments especially in IT/OT convergence: Integrating MES with ERP, SCADA, PLC and IIoT • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows • Experience in API-management, industrial protocols (e.g. OPC-UA), programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C#) and data bases (SQL, noSQL) • Strong problem solving/analytical, communication and interpersonal skills |
