# IT Manager Global Aftermarket **Kirchheimbolanden - Germany** | **Full time** ## BorgWarner IT Europe has a new opportunity for a dynamic, results driven # IT Manager Global Aftermarket (m/f/d) The IT Manager for the Global Automotive Aftermarket Business leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions that support the Aftermarket business. This role involves collaborating with global IT and business unit functions to drive digital transformation, gather requirements, design solutions, and provide ongoing support. The manager will work closely with various departments to enhance/automate aftermarket processes, improve user experience, support business growth, and meet customer requirements. The position will be based in Kirchheimbolanden, Germany. The IT Manager will report to the Vice President IT and manage resources supporting Aftermarket technologies and solutions. This position partners with corporate and business unit leadership to streamline global processes and drive efficiencies through innovative IT systems. **KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lead Aftermarket IT for a geographically diverse business team including defining and implementing the technology vision and strategy. * Provide global guidance on Aftermarket IT strategies and implementation plans, fostering business success and maintaining positive business relationships through project management, support commitments, and advisory roles. * Ensure day-to-day support of global systems, create innovative services, and build competencies for new projects and customer engagement, incorporating digital lean principles. * Responsible for system strategy including innovation and technology that adds value to the Aftermarket business. * Engage in production-oriented digitization projects to optimize and automate Aftermarket processes, working with international cross-functional teams to build an IT platform that meets local and global needs. * Support identification of use cases in digitization within the Aftermarket business, planning, implementing, and developing solutions, analyzing existing processes, and identifying optimization potentials with digital technologies. * Set priorities for the team activities and identify solutions to increase efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability in Aftermarket operations, managing risks, issues, project scope, and change requests. * Organize and prioritize business and IT requests, develop roadmaps, conduct analysis, and standardize global processes and global tools. * Oversee financial aspects including budgeting and managing costs for Aftermarket IT initiatives, support costs, and maintain relationships and contracts with third parties. * Act as a SPOC for all the EMEA aftermarket IT needs ranging from service tickets to IT projects Execution. * Manage and negotiate **contracts with IT vendors (Internal/External)**, ensuring cost-effective and scalable IT solutions for Aftermarket. * Implementing **cybersecurity best practices** for customer & supplier data security in digital transactions. * Support **change management initiatives** to drive IT adoption across global Aftermarket teams. **REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. * 6+ years of professional experience in consulting or the automotive industry, specializing in IT, engineering, production, and/or logistics, with demonstrated experience leading the implementation and support of automation, AI, and business digitization. * Understanding of digital solutions and technologies relevant to the Aftermarket business. * Experience in Salesforce, Power Platform, and Aftermarket e-Commerce standards is preferred. * Familiarity with Cloud technologies for scalable IT infrastructure. * Knowledge in Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics for aftermarket applications. * Experience working with BI & Reporting tools (Power BI) to enhance business intelligence. * 4+ years of experience managing complex projects in large global organizations with multiple stakeholders, including budget and forecast management. * Understanding of business processes in the Aftermarket industry, with robust communication skills, teamwork, and customer relationship development. * Ability to work directly with middle to senior management and employees, with results-oriented, strong problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Initiative, motivation, and openness to new ideas, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities. * Capability to provide IT solutions that meet business needs within budget and timeline constraints, with proficiency in understanding and implementing new technology and solutions in a global organization. * Proficiency in English and willingness to travel up to 20%.
