**Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure
* Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
* Create IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloud
* Support creation of technical guidelines, standards and templates for digitalization projects to be scaled across the MML group
* Support the creation of an OT architecture for MML divisions
* Interface with corporate support divisions to Implement digitalization projects
* Receive and provide training to divisional teams related to digitalization
* Develop KPIs, metrics and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments
* Provide detailed specifications to proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources required
* Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production
Professional Experience and Education:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems or equivalent proof of baseline knowledge
* 3+ years experience in software development
* Experience with programming language (ex. Python, C#, JavaScript, C++)
* Experience with databases and different types of data storage
Skills and Competencies:
* Good understanding of IoT, security, communication protocols (MQTT), UNS (Unified Name Space)
* Familiar with PLC programming in Siemens and Rockwell controllers, among others
* Familiar with source control tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
* Familiar with cloud architecture
* Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity, data acquisition and data historian software
* Knowledge of different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
* Familiar with Robot programming and SCADA software is a plus
* Able to exercise independent judgement and take action on it
