PGIM Real Estate | Investment Intern, Portfolio Management (f/m/d) Based in Frankfurt

Frankfurt, Germany | Full time

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be part of the pan-European portfolio management team and work on a wide range of strategic initiatives. On a single asset level, you will develop versatile analyses with regards to cash flow, budgeting and (re-)financing as well in depth hold/sell analyses. On the fund level, you will support the team, working on investor requests, quarterly reporting and any other internal and external strategic discussions, shaping the investment decision making process for the pan-European real estate platform. We are looking for an astute, determined professional to assist our portfolio management team.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
·Support the budget planning and cashflow analyses by using an established portfolio model as well as support in the creation of hold/sell analyses
·Assistance in the creation of property, financial and corporate analysis as well as assistance in the strategic management of real estate investments or targets
·Close interaction within the portfolio management team as well as with Luxembourg based fund operations and fund administration teams
·Assistance at creating reports, such as quarterly, annual financial and non-financial reports – including the preparation of investor reporting and corresponding presentations
·Assistance at cross-functional and international projects with the focus on independent handling and quality assurance on large data sets
·Supporting the transaction processes, both for acquiring and disposing assets (can include quality assurance of data rooms, supporting the team with internal and external approval processes)
·Close interaction and collaboration with professionals in the various departments, such as Transaction, Asset Management and Corporate Finance
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
·Academic background: Bachelor degree with a specialization in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance or any other related fields
·Relevant work experience based on other internships or as working student
·Proficient analytical, technical and writing skills including very good knowledge of standard MS Office applications (in particular strong Excel skills are advantageous )
·Must have strong German & English fluency (written and verbal)
·Very high degree of analytical competence
·Eager to learn and contribute and therefore being open minded to get staffed on various projects
·Strong inter-personal skills to deal professionally and credible with senior executives and external partners or service providers
·Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to function under tight time frames while delivering work accurately
